Kevin Butler first
became interested in the stock market in the early
1980's, while still in college. The excitement
of trading and the financial potential was incredibly
appealing.
As a college student
majoring in philosophy, Mr. Butler took a very
methodical and analytical approach to this new
passion. He spent several years studying
technical analysis and testing many approaches to
trading.
Like many traders,
Mr. Butler tried many systems and methodologies with
mixed success. Although he was able to achieve
profitable performance rather consistently, his
thorough understanding of technical analysis and the
forces that drive price movement made it clear that
most common approaches lacked a solid foundation.
The common approaches, which focused primarily on the
price action of the stock, did not take into account
the condition of the broader market.
The the late 80's Mr.
Butler developed a broad trading strategy that
recognized the powerful influence the broad market has
on the price movement of individual stocks. By
using the broad market as the foundation for all trade
decisions, Mr. Butler began to achieve a level of
consistence that exceeded all expectation.
In the mid-1990's Mr.
Butler was able to move into the ranks of the
professional traders. He has served as a
technical advisor for several corporate and individual
clients.
In 2000 Mr. Butler
formed Logical Trades, Inc. as a company dedicated to
providing solid stock trading information to the
general public. The internet seemed filled with
the same flawed approaches that Mr. Butler had
witnessed for many years and he believed that serious
traders would benefit from his proven program.
Since that time Mr.
Butler has written several best selling books,
currently available for on line purchase, and provides
several professional trade services and a substantial
client base. His daily market analysis is
regarded as one of the best trade tools available
anywhere.
