Because the Williams is very volatile it will often move from it's buy/sell range by the time the ADX turns, as was the case today. This is why we look back 2 minutes to see where the Williams has been as stated in the book. The initial move was down so we buy as soon as the ADX turns, buying in the lower 20% and selling to close in the top 20% of the Williams.

Futures, Online Trading Results For The 2nd September 2005

There were 2 nice trades in the first 30 minutes of trading today which could have netted you up to 32 pts profit, however if you are achieving 50% of the move I would consider this good trading. Both were sell entries. The moves were up so we sell as soon as the ADX turns, selling in the top 20% and buying back to close in the lower 20% of the Williams. There will be no email update on Monday due to the US holiday. Have a nice weekend.

Futures, Online Trading Results For The 25th August 2005

Bit of a mixed open with the indicators today and we had to wait longer than normal for both charts to agree on the entry. The move was down so we buy as soon as the ADX turns, buying in the lower 20% and selling to close in the top 20% of the Williams

Futures, Online Trading Results For The 17th August 2005

Occasionally I receive an email from a customer with questions and think that the answers will benefit others, so today's email is slightly different. One of the questions was do I look only for "vee tops" on the ADX or do I also look for "vee bottoms". The answer is I only look for vee tops, why? Firstly it makes the system simpler by just concentrating on one aspect. The other reason is that vee bottoms are not so easy to read, they are good at indicating the start of a trend after a flat period in the market but can give false signals. Another question was "Do I use the same signals throughout the day" Yes, I make anything between 1 and 19 trades per day, I have marked up 4 trades which could have made you 70 points plus in the first hour and a half today, trading 4 contracts or $20 per point that is $1400 profit. All entries were also confirmed on the cash (INDU) chart.

Futures Online Trading Results For The 8th August 2005

The initial move was up so as usual we sell as soon as the ADX turns, selling in the top 20% and buying back to close in the lower 20% of the Williams

Futures Online Trading Results For The 3rd August 2005

http://www.60minutetrader.com/archive/augustfutures/103-08-05.htmA very flat open with the market trading within a 10 point range for the first hour so not many points today.
